Meet Our Team
James E. Kemmler, MD
Dr. Kemmler has turned a passion for science and acute knack for proper structure, mechanics, and fixing things into helping people return to their sports, jobs, and lifestyles through orthopaedic expertise. Dr. Kemmler leads the team at Kemmler Orthopaedics Center and a hallmark of his work is his dedication to building relationships with patients to create personalized, higher standards of care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kemmler is devoted to bringing healthcare to people of all backgrounds and capabilities. He contributes to Medical Mission West, founded organizations such as Giving Thanks, and expands his contribution through memberships in organizations such as the West Ohio Art League, the Ohio Watercolor Society and founding the ACE (Arts for Community Enrichment).

Jed Kohne, PA-C
Certified Physician’s Assistant
Jed has been a valuable member of the Kemmler Orthopaedics staff for over 13 years. As a Physician Assistant, he works in conjunction with Dr. Kemmler to provide care in both the hospital and office setting. He first assists in surgical procedures and also performs hospital consultations, postoperative examinations, and patient history and physical evaluations. He also administers injections, such as Synvisc, and applies casts/splints.
Prior to that, he spent eight years as a respiratory therapist in both the Lima and Dayton communities. He is a native of Minster, where he currently resides with his family, and enjoys the opportunity to practice orthopaedics in Auglaize and Mercer Counties and the surrounding communities.
Education and Certifications
Jed is a graduate of Kettering Medical College with a Bachelor of Science degree and a certification of completion in Physician Assistant studies. He is certified by the Ohio State Medical Board and NCCPA.
